I know I went over this week because I bought two big jugs of Tide and also bought Diet Pepsi. Hopefully I won't have to buy either Tide or Diet Pepsi for a while, especially if I ration myself on the soda. The Tide was $11 a jug, but if you bought $25 of P&G products, you got $5 off. I figure I got my Bounce for free.
Here are a couple of photos of what I got today:
My pictures are kind of crap, but you get the idea.
Here's a list of what I bought:
-Three pack Kroger brand paper towels
-Suave kids 2 in 1 Shampoo (on sale for $1.32 with a 25 cents off coupon, doubled, final cost 82 cents)
-Lays Stax
-Natural Dogfood
-4 packs Betty Crocker Pouch potatoes (on sale $1 each, 40 cents shortcuts coupon, and 4 35 cent coupons, which were doubled, final cost: 20 cents each)

-Snyders pretzels
-Kroger sliced provolone
-Wheat thins ($2.19 w/a $1 off coupon, final cost $1.19)

-Fiber One yogurt (on sale for $2.37 and I had a $1.35 off coupon. Total cost only $1.02!)
-Quaker oatmeal squares (also on sale for only $1.88)
-Angel soft bath tissue-4 roll pack
-Kroger maple syrup
-Kroger BBQ sauce (I cannot WAIT until the summer when barbecue sauce goes on sale. We go through a lot of it and it's so expensive right)
-1 caramello bar (this is also for our ice cream)
-Kroger skim milk
-2 Lean Pockets (on sale for $1.78 each with a $1 coupon off two. Final cost: $1.28 each)

-2 Progresso High fiber soups (on sale for $1.25 each, minus Shortcuts coupon of 50 cents and 50 cents off coupon, which was doubled. Final cost: 50 cents each. That's a good, hot, cheap lunch)
-Skippy peanut butter
-Johnson and Johnson Baby Powder (my husband uses this. It was on sale for $2.09 and I had a $1 off coupon. Total $1.09! Way cheap for this!)
-1 Ragu sauce
-1 Hunts sauce
-1 Merita donuts (on sale for $2 and I had a 45 cents off coupon, which doubled. Total cost: $1.10)
-Kroger bread
-Minute Rice (brown)
According to my receipt, I saved 35%. I think I can do a lot better.
Total spent for today: $119.77. I wasn't SO far over, but it wasn't great either. I'm disappointed. Also disappointed that $10.03 of that total was tax. But, such is life.
Anyway. I'm working on it.
Total spent today: $119.77
Total spent in 2010: $119.77
Remaining annual balance: $5080.23
