In other words:
AUGH!!!
I was so close this time too! My grand total? $102.19. SO. FRUSTRATING. Here are some not very good pictures of what I purchased:

Since you can't see everything, obviously, here's a list:
-Kroger Dog Food
-2 BirdsEye Steamfresh Broccoli cuts
-2 packages Margarine sticks
-3 pack Kroger Paper Towels
-2 boxes Kroger Mac and Cheese
-2 cups of Kroger Shredded Cheddar
-4 Kroger Marinades (assorted kinds only $1 each)
-2 Krusteaz cookie mix (one of my favorite finds! $1 coupons off each so I got them for only $1! Hurray!)
-1 gallon Kroger Skim Milk
-4 Met RX Big 100 bars (on sale for $1.19 each and I had buy one get one free coupons so I paid $2.38 for four bars! A little less than 60 cents for breakfast? Yes, please!)
-One pint heavy whipping cream
-2 Pillsbury cake mixes (on sale for 69 cents each, so I bought them without coupons. And they weren't on the list. See also: reasons I can't stay under $100)
-Merita donuts (again paid only $1.10 for these)
-Kroger wipes
-Cottonelle Ultra Toilet Paper (I do wish I hadn't spent so much on this, but it was on sale AND I had a coupon. And hopefully it will last us a good long while.)
-Private Selection Ice Cream
-Shedds spread
-5 Healthy Choice entrees (my BEST deal today probably. These were on sale for $1.99 and I had a reward loaded to my card that gave you $5 off 5. I ended up spending $4.95 for FIVE meals. Awesome!)
-Betty Crocker potatoes (on sale for $1, had a 35 cents off coupon which was doubled, so I got my potatoes for 30 cents)
-Minute Rice
-2 Kroger Frozen carrots
-2 Grands Jr. Biscuits (on sale for $1 each, had a coupon for 30 cents off which was doubled, so I spent 70 cents each)
-6 gallons of Kroger brand water
-Pantene conditioner
-8 packets of Kool-aid mix (not Kool-aid brand, but whatever)
-1 Campbells tomato soup (I had a $1 off coupon so it was free)
-2 Campbells Cream of Chicken with herbs soups
-1 Nestle Crunch big bar (for our homemade ice cream)
-Kroger Flour
-Kroger Provolone Cheese slices
-3 John Morrell Lunch meat tubs
-1 pack Hot Pockets
-Kroger Sugar
-Three pack Extra Butter Kroger Popcorn
-2 Kelloggs Blueberry Poptarts ($1.39 each w/a coupon for $1 off two, so I paid 89 cents each. And my kids and husband LOVE the unfrosted blueberry)
-Kroger Sandwich bags
-Lays Stax
-Buns
-4.43lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
-Cheetos balls
-Dove soap (which was free)
-Ex-lax (on sale for $3.99, I had a register bonus of $2 and a coupon for $1.50 off, so it cost me 41 cents)
-2 2-liter Diet Pepsi
-1 box Kroger cereal
I also had a $5 "Customer relations" balance, because I got a crappy Kroger brand product and complained about it. So that helped take the balance down a bit too.
Where I could have done better:
-Maybe shouldn't have spent so much on toilet paper. It's good toilet paper and will probably last a while, but it was still spendy.
-Didn't get a lot of meat. I didn't even look at pork or beef. I did look at turkey and it was kind of ridiculously expensive.
-I could have bought cheaper chips (instead of the Cheeto balls). I did buy $1 popcorn which will be good for several lunches. Still. Could have done better there.
-Did not NEED the mac and cheese. It was a last minute grab, and not on the list. It was only $1.04 total (for both boxes), but still.
-Homemade ice cream is getting kind of spendy. I spent $2.49 on the heavy cream and $1 on the candy. That's $3.49 BEFORE you factor in the cost of milk. And I bought ice cream, already made, for $2.50.
-I didn't need dog food. It was only $1.79 and it certainly won't go bad, but I didn't NEED it.
Also frustrating?
I made a list. I HAD A LIST. I still went over. Apparently it's about impluse control and apparently I lack it.
According to my receipt I saved 38% today. Better than last time, I guess.
Total spent today: $102.19
Total spent in 2010: $221.96
Remaining annual balance: $4978.04
