I can't believe I shopped more in the same week after going over my budget already, but the Kroger Mega-Sale was just RIDICULOUS. I had to go again.
I had a very specific list, bought only exactly 20 items that were part of the deal, and had coupons for everything! Here's what I got and the costs:
-2 Pillsbury Savorings- I had never tried these and this huge sale seemed like a great time to start. They were $2.49 each after deducting the savings of the Mega Sale, plus I got an extra $1 off with my CellFire coupon and I had a 50 cents off coupon, which doubled. Final cost $1.49 each.
-7 Green Giant Valley Steamers-$1.49 each after the Mega Sale savings, plus I had three $1/2 coupons and one 50 cents off one coupon that was doubled. Final cost: 92 cents a bag!
- 1 Krusteaz cookie mix-$1.49 after Mega Sale savings, plus a $1 off coupon. Final cost: 49 cents.
-2 Chex Mix-$1.49 each after Mega Sale deduction, plus I had a 50 cents off Cell fire coupon and a 50 cents off Shortcuts coupon. Final cost: 99 cents each.
-1 Nature Valley Granola bar-$2.19 after Mega Sale savings, plus I had a 40 cents off coupon which doubled and a 40 cents off Cellfire coupon. Final cost:99 cents
-1 Fiber One bar-$2.19 after Mega Sale savings, plus 40 cents Cellfire coupon and 50 cents off coupon which was doubled. Final cost: 79 cents.
-6 boxes of Ritz Crackers-$1.99 each after Mega Sale savings and I had 6 $1 off coupons. Final cost: 99 cents each.
I also had an extra $1 Catalina which I used. I might have had one more coupon too, but I don't recall. Anyway, my total cost was $19.43. I saved 69%! That's HUGE for me!!
Total spent today: $19.43
Total spent in 2010: $586.23
Remaining annual balance: $4613.77
