Ingles Triple Coupons and more CVS

On Saturday I got a chance to go to Ingles. They were having triple coupons and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. Ingles is not in my part of town, but I was visiting a friend and she lives very close by.

My thoughts? It was a bust.

I don't have any pictures, but it wasn't much to write home about anyway.

Here's what I got:
-Kraft Homestyle Mac and Cheese
-2 Shedds Spread Country Crock
-3.27lbs Bottom Round Roast
-Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip cookie mix
-Orville Redenbacher Cheddar Popcorn
-Hillshire Farm Ham
-Hillshire Farm Turkey breast
-4lbs dog food
-2 Gallons spring water

Subtotal was $29.57

They only double 3 coupons for every $10 you spend. I used:
-1 $0.50/1 Orville Redenbacher (Made it $0.50)
-2 $0.40/1 Country Crock (Those were $0.47 each)
-1 $0.50/1 Betty Crocker Cookie Mix ($0.67 after coupon)
-2 $0.35/1 Hillshire Farms (Those were $1.95 each after coupons)
-Free Mac and Cheese (-$2.98)

Total was $18.69

The meat was really good. The prices, overall, were REALLY high. I struggled to find things that would be worthwhile with the coupons.

Today I went to CVS. I was feeling really discouraged, but the trip today made me feel a lot better.

-2 Old Spice Body Wash
-1 Godiva Gems

I used:
-1 BOGO Old Spice
-1 Free Godiva Gems (These were $4.99! I'd never pay that much!)
-$2 ECB

Total was $3.27 and I got $8 in ECB's. I made $4.73!

Total spent: $21.96
Total spent in 2010: $2830.54
Remaining annual balance: $2369.46
