I don't think I'm absolutely horrible at meal planning, but I really think I need some work on it. I usually have some kind of vague plan for dinner by noon every day, and I usually remember to pull something out of the freezer to thaw, but I think I would do better if I made a REAL, SERIOUS plan every week. I also think it would help me actually remember what I have in my house. I keep my cabinets pretty organized, but I totally forgot about some mac and cheese I had in there. Oh and some pretzel M&M's. It's probably good that I forgot those!
So here's the plan for this weekend. I'll start with that and maybe I won't get so overwhelmed.
Tonight:
-Hamburger Helper Beef fried rice (dinner)
Saturday:
-Cereal (breakfast)
-Chicken patties on buns with french fries (lunch)
-Chicken breasts, broccoli, Pasta Roni and homemade bread (dinner)
Sunday:
-Cereal (breakfast)
-Homemade chicken noodle soup and homemade bread (lunch)
-Pasta with meat sauce and garlic bread (dinner)
That's enough of a plan for now, I think. I don't feel terribly overwhelmed by that.
