Eating our AngelFood: Beef stew!

While rummaging through my cabinets I came across a Beef Stew seasoning packet that I had bought forever ago and completely forgot about. I used that, along with my 1.5 pounds of beef roast and four of the potatoes I got from AngelFood and a small bag of frozen carrots (I could have used the AngelFood carrots, but these others had been in the freezer longer) and made a really super delicious beef stew last night.

I was worried because I heard mixed reviews of the meats, but this meat was tender and juicy. It was fabulous! It had a little bit of fat on one side that I cut off and a small amount of fat marbling, but it was divine!

The only other item I've tried from my AngelFood box was the cookie dough and it was your basic Nestle cookie dough (or Pillsbury? I can't remember). It's very good as well.

So far, so good as far as the food goes.

And it couldn't have been easier to pick-up. I went to the site and they actually carried it out to my car in a box. Easy, peasy.

I'm liking this AngelFood thing so far. I'm liking it a whole lot.
