Kroger Trip- 3/1/10






Here is what I got today:
-2 Totinos Pizzas
-1 Digornio Pizza
-4 Green Giant Valley Steamers ($1.28 each, one coupon for 50 cents off which doubled and one coupon for $1/3. Final cost: $3.12 or 78 cents each)
-2 Pillsbury Cookie Dough (had a $1 off coupon so they ended up being $1.50 each. Not great, but okay)
-4 Snickers bars (29 cents each after coupons)
-1 California Pizza Kitchen Pizza ($4.47 and I had a $1 off coupon)
-6 Martha White Cornbread (61 cents each and I used 3 55 cents off 2 coupons so the final cost was $2.01 or 34 cents each)
-2 Betty Crocker Chocolate Chunk cookie mixes ($1.50 each, plus I had a 40 cents off Cellfire coupon, a 40 cents off Shortcuts coupon and 2 40 cents off coupons which doubled so the final cost was 60 cents or 30 cents each!)
-2 Pantene Conditioners ($2.97 each and I had a $2/2 coupon so final cost was $3.94 or $1.97 each)
-1 Nature Valley Granola bar (2.29 and I had a 40 cents off Cellfire coupon and a paper coupon for 40 cents off which doubled, so my final cost was $1.09)
-1 Nature Valley Sweet and Salty bar ($2.29 and I had a 40 cents off Shortcuts coupon, but a 50 cents off paper coupon which doubled, so my final cost was 89 cents)
-1 Private Selection ice cream ($2.49 and I had a 75 cents off coupon. Final cost $1.74)
-2 Kroger Cheese
-2 Chex Mix bars ($2.29 each and I had 2 50 cents off coupons, which doubled, so I paid $1.29 each for these)
-2 Kroger Cereals
-3 Chex Mix (1 cheddar and 2 Turtle flavor. Each were $1.50 and I had 1 Cellfire coupon for 50 cents off regular and 2 Shortcuts coupons for 50 cents off Chocolate chex, plus I had 3 40 cents off coupons which doubled. Final cost was 60 cents or 20 cents a bag!)
-1 bag of Bakery Buns
-1 Great value hamburger buns
-2 Fiber one bars ($2.29 each and I had Cellfire and Shortcuts coupons for 40 cents each, as well as paper coupons for 40 cents each which doubled. Final cost was $2.18 or $1.09 each)
-1 Betty Crocker muffin mix ($2 minus Cellfire coupon for 50 cents and paper coupon for 50 cents which doubled. Final cost 50 cents)
-1 KitKat 6 pack ($1 after coupon)
-1 package Private Selection Beef Patties ($6.99 and I had a $1.40 off coupon so final cost was $5.59)
-2 Packages Kroger Microwave popcorn
-3 Progresso Soups ($1.25 each and I had a 50 cents off Shortcuts coupon and a $1.10 off three paper coupon. Final cost $2.15 or 72 cents a can)
-8 Betty Crocker Frostings ($1.49 each and I had a 50 cents off Cellfire coupon and used 8 50 cents off paper coupons, which doubled. Final cost was $3.42 or 43 cents each)
-1 Lays Stax
-2 Barilla Pasta ($1 each and I had a 55/2 coupon so the final cost was $1.45 or 73 cents each)
-1 bag Kroger frozen french fries
-3 Pampers Wipes (99 cents each after coupon)
-3 Oscar Meyer lunch meat
-1 Betty Crocker Warm delights ($1.50, plus a 50 cents off Cellfire coupon and a 50 cents off paper coupon which doubled, means it was FREE)
-3 Hunts Tomato Sauce
-1 Kroger Peanut butter
-2 Macaroni Grill Pasta dinners ($2.50 each after coupons)
-Tampons
-Kroger Skim Milk
-1 Suave Deodorant (77 cents and I had a $1 off coupon, so they paid me 23 cents to take it out of the store)
-1 Vo5 Shampoo
-2 Packages of Ground beef
-Charmin Bath Tissue
-Bounty Paper Towels
-3 Tide Detergents ($5.88 each and I had 2 35 cents off coupons, which doubled and a $1 off coupon so my total cost was $15.24 or $5.08 each. Good price for these)
-2 Keebler cookies
-1 Dishwashing powder
-1 Big K Soda 12pk

I saved $116.29 or 47%. I'm disappointed that the tampons and one pack of the cookies rang up higher than the shelf tags. I wish I would have caught it at the time, but live and learn I guess.

I'm pretty well stocked. I'm hoping that all I need for the rest of this month is lunch food each week, water, and some meats. We'll see how it goes.
