Two trips and under $100!

I know I said I wouldn't go back to Food City, but I thought I would be smart about it and ONLY get the things on sale or cheaper than I could get at Kroger. So here is what I got today:


-3 All Detergents
-2 Johnson and Johnson Baby Powder

I used a coupon for each item I bought. The All was $2.99 and I had $2 off coupons for each one. The baby powder was $2.99 (less than it was at Kroger) and I had $1 off coupons for each one.

Total: $8.33 (includes tax)

Here is what I got at Kroger:


-8 Gallons Kroger water (not pictured)
-1 Dozen medium eggs (not pictured)
-12 pack Diet K Soda (not pictured)
-1 Sunchips (Free coupon from Facebook!)
-1 Breyers Ice cream
-13 Smart Ones (I had $3/10 and three free coupons for Flatbreads. Total was $16.90 or $1.30 each)
-1 Gallon Skim milk
-Family size Pert Plus ($4.99 and I had a $2 off coupon)
-Barbasol Shaving cream
-Kroger Tator Tots
-Kroger French Fries
-2 Velveeta Cups (Had a buy one get one free coupon AND got a 50 cent Catalina)
-3 Hormel Lunch meat ($2.64 each after coupons)
-1 Lays Stax
-Kroger Ice cream bars
-2 Hunts Pasta sauce
-2 Thomas' English Muffins ($2.98, plus I had a $1 off coupon. Total for two $1.98 or 99 cents each)
-2 cans Kroger mixed vegetables
-3.08lbs Perdue boneless, skinless chicken breast
-2 Kroger paper towels
-2 Active Lifestyle bars
-4 Drink mix (Kool-aid type)
-1 Keebler cookies
-Ground beef
-Buns
-3 pack Kroger popcorn
-Smart Balance margarine ($1.39 and I had a $1 off coupon, so I paid 39 cents)

Total spent at Kroger: $90.14

The sales weren't really fabulous at Kroger today. I only saved 37%. Not bad, but certainly not my best trip.

When I got home I had a special package from Lysol. They sent me these items to do a review on my blog...and I get to give some away! Hurray!



I have no idea how much these would have cost, but you can't beat free!
