Tired of shopping.

Well, I'm not exhausted, but I'm pretty darn worn out from shopping. I did get some good deals, but I think I'm done for a few days!

My first trip today was to CVS in the city I work in. Here's a photo of what I got:


I didn't do as great as I hoped, but I did okay. I got:
-4 Nivea Bodywash for men
-Toothache gel (need!)
-3 bags of M&M's candies
-Kotex U Tampons

I used these coupons:
-4 $3/1 Nivea Bodywash
-Buy 2 get 1 free M&M's
-$1 off Kotex U Tampons
-$5 Extra Care Bucks

I spent $20.54 and received an additional $9.99 in Extra Care Bucks. $5 was for the bodywash and the other $4.99 was for the Kotex. Since I had $1 off, it was a money maker.

After work I went to Kroger:

I got:
-Private Selection Ice cream
-2 Skinny Cow Ice cream sandwiches (total splurge)
-1 Kroger frozen carrots
-3 Birds Eye Steam fresh veggies
-2 Kroger sausage links
-1 Gallon skim milk
-4lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
-1 Budding Turkey (lunchmeat)
-1 Budding Ham (lunchmeat)
-Kroger Provolone cheese
-Heinz Ketchup
-Kroger Wheat buns
-2 Kroger Popcorn
-2 Active Lifestyle chewy bars
-1 Keebler wheat crackers

I used these coupons:
-$1 off Budding lunchmeat
-$1 off Budding lunchmeat
-$0.70 off when you buy 2 Active Lifestyle bars
-$0.75 off Private Selection ice cream
-$1 off Keebler wheat crackers
-$.50 off Steamfresh veggies (X3 and all doubled)
-$1.25 off when you buy 2 Skinny Cow
-$3 off when you spend $15 on frozen foods

I also got an additional $1 off from Shortcuts because I bought Birdseye veggies. My per item cost for veggies was $0.67 each.

I spent $39.49. My receipt says I saved 47% or $33.09.


My final stop was Food City. They were having a great promotion where you spend $15 and $5 off certain items, so I loaded up on the ones I had coupons on. Here's what I got there:

-2 Banquet Family Size Entrees
-7 Healthy Choice entrees
-.93lbs Sandwich steak
-1.70lb Bottom Round Steak
-2 Food Club chips
2 Pop 'Ems chips

I got the $5 off for buying $15 (Banquet and Healthy choice). I also used these coupons:
-$1 off Banquet Family Size entrees (they were only $2 to start with!)
-$1 off Banquet Family Size entrees
-$1 off when you buy 2 Healthy Choice Entrees
-$5 off when you buy 5 Healthy Choice entrees

I spent $17.04 and my receipt tells me I saved $28.52.
